PAY AT THE DOOR?
Yes, you can pay at the door. But it'll cost you $25 extra!
All entries not paid in advance (by 10:00 PM on Sunday, October 31, 2021) are subject to a $25 late fee

Why? Because collecting entry fees at the door really slows down the check-in process. Also, the club really needs to collect funds up front: most of our expenses must be paid before the show starts.


(The fine print: Any exhibitor whose payment has not been received for any reason by
10:00 PM on Sunday, October 31, 2021 will be assessed a $25.00 late fee. Payment at the door will be at the sole discretion of the Entry Clerk, will be subject to the $25.00 late fee, and MUST be paid in cash. No exceptions!)

ENTER THE SHOW


To enter your cat in the show, submit the following to the entry clerk. (For closing dates, see the first orange box in the left column.)   

  • A completed Summary Sheet.
  • A completed entry form (via TOES) for each cat you're entering.
  • Two printed copies of the Health Questionnaire (necessary only if the state reverts back to a controlled attendance due to increased COVID rates)
  • Payment for the amount owed. All payment must be in US dollars, and must be received no later than 10 PM on the closing date, Sunday, October 31, 2021.

IMPORTANT: By entering this show (by submitting a Summary Sheet or a cat entry) you agree to abide by all TICA rules and all club rules, including all Health & Safety Rules.

COVID-19 HEALTH RULES: To enter this show, you must agree to follow the health & safety rules for this event. Anyone not complying with these safety precautions will be required to leave the show without refund of any monies paid. If the state reverts back to controlled attendance levels due to COVID-19, you must also provide a signed copy of our Health Questionnaire at check-in each day.

IMPORTANT: Entering the show constitutes a committment to pay your show fees! The only situation in which you would not owe for your show fees would be if the show is cancelled.

PAYMENT FORMS

  • We accept credit card payments via PayPal.
  • We also accept checks or money orders. Please make checks payable to The Maine Event.

To Enter Online

  1. To enter online, please submit a summary sheet via this website.
  2. You must also enter each of your entries via the TOES online entry system.
  3. Please send your payment by no later than 10 PM on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
  4. (Necessary only if the state reverts back to controlled attendance levels) Please print and sign two copies of the Health Questionnaire and bring them with you to check-in.

To Email Your Entry

It's better to use our Summary Sheet and online entry system (TOES) than to simply send your entry information in an email. (Most folks who send in "email entries" end up inadvertently omitting something important.) If you use the online forms, you'll be prompted for all the information required.

If for some reason you can't get our online entry forms to work, then go ahead and enter via email. To do this, send an email containing the necessary information to the entry clerk at entryclerk@maineevent.org. Please be sure to include all the information requested on the Summary Sheet, as well as complete entry information for each cat, and a signed and scanned copy of our Health (COVID-19) Rules. (If you don't have a scanner, you will have to snail-mail a copy of this document, or fill out an online Summary Sheet, which incorporates those rules.)

Please send your payment by no later than 10 PM on Sunday, October 31, 2021.


To phone in your entry:

You can enter by telephone. However, there is a $5 per entry charge for phone entries. To enter by phone, call the entry clerk.

To enter via snail mail:

Mail a printed summary sheet, entry forms and a signed Health Questionnaire to the entry clerk.

Closing Dates

  • All entries must be received and paid by 10:00 pm on Sunday, October 31, 2021. This is the final date. There will NOT be any late pages.
  • If you have already entered the show, please send your payment as soon as possible, and no later than 10 PM on the closing date, Sunday, October 31, 2021.

Payment and Fees

  • As soon as your entry/summary form has been received by the Entry Clerk, whether it be by website, phone, email, or snail-mail, you are committed to pay for your entries and all related costs. Submitting entry information via any of these methods constitutes an agreement to pay for all services ordered, even if you withdraw from the show, fail to attend the show, or fail to complete the entry process. The only way you would not owe entry fees is if the show is cancelled.
  • All payment must be received by no later than 10 PM on the closing date, Sunday, October 31, 2021.
  • Pay all fees in U.S. funds by money order, bank check, or PayPal to treasurer@maineevent.org. Make check or cashier checks payable to "The Maine Event" and mail to Elaine H-Weitz, Treasurer, 5517-152nd St SW, Edmonds, WA 98026.
  • Returned check fee — $30.00 plus any bank fees charged to the club.
  • NO REFUNDS! Once an entry or service has been received, only substitutions may be made, for a fee. Any excess payment will be considered a donation to the show.
  • Cats co-owned by members of two different households are eligible for multiple entry discounts ONLY if a photocopy of the cat's TICA registration accompanies the cat's entry showing the names of both co-owners.
  • End-of-row benching (not handicapped) — $15.00.
  • Phone entry fee — $5.00/entry.
  • Substitution fee — $10.00/entry. Substitutions may be made up to 10pm, Sunday, October 31, 2021.
  • Extra catalog — $10.00/each.
  • The club reserves the right to cancel entries for which payment has not been received by 10 PM, Sunday, October 31, 2021. 
  • Late fee — Any payment that has not been received by 10pm, Sunday, October 31, 2021 will be assessed a $25.00 late fee. Payment at the door will be at the sole discretion of the Entry Clerk, will be subject to a $25.00 late fee, and MUST be paid in cash or cashier's check. No exceptions!

ENTRY TERMS

By entering this show, all exhibitors agree to the following terms:

  • Your cats are entered at your own risk.
  • You will abide by and uphold all club health & safety rules, and understand that failure to do so will result in expulsion from the show without refund.
  • You will abide by and uphold the rules of TICA and the Show Committee.
  • If you have any changes, you will contact the Entry Clerk immediately.
  • Entering the show via any allowable method (website, TOES, email, phone or snail mail) constitutes an agreement to pay in full for all services ordered, even if you withdraw from the show, fail to attend the show, or fail to complete the entry procedure.  The only way you would not owe entry fees is if the show is cancelled.
  • Once you have entered, you commit to paying all fees in U.S. Funds by no later than 10 PM on Sunday, October 31, 2021 by one of the following options: Money order or bank check payable to "The Maine Event," or via PayPal payment to: treasurer@maineevent.org.
  • There are no refunds once an entry or service request has been received by the Entry Clerk. However, substitutions may be made. See Fees Section.
  • Any excess payment is considered a donation to the show.
